Transition Streets

Transition Streets is a project that aims to bring together neighbours to help them develop more sustainable ways of living together. In Totnes where Transition Streets was started, households cut an average £570 from their annual household bills and 1.2 tonnes from their carbon footprint.

We Successfully ran our first programme, in East Whins, Findhorn, with 10 households. We are now 2015, waiting for more neighbourhoods to try this program.

The programme consists of seven sessions. The first is a kick-off session, this is followed by five practical sessions focusing on energy efficiency, water, waste, travel and food. Finally there’s a wrap-up session when the group considers what it might like to do next.

If you want to participate please contact us and we will provide materials and support.
