CV19-Precautions

At present, TTF’s Environmental Education and Healthy Living Centre is closed until further notice.

A previous notice from the board on our response to the ongoing pandemic:

Transition Town Forres is taking action to delay and limit the spread of Coronavirus. We view this extremely seriously.

Our number one priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our members and visitors, providing a safe and clean environment for you to enjoy your visit or classes.

We are staying well informed of the developing situation and are following the advice and recommendations from the UK & Scottish Governments, Public Health Scotland and the World Health Organisation.

We have put up recommended public information signs which includes requesting people to regularly sanitise their hands; we have provided more soap and paper hand towel dispensers (instead of the cloth towels); and we are undertaking extra anti-bacterial cleaning in the public areas and kitchen.

Finally, to help minimise the spread of the virus, we are following the latest Government recommendations and asking any member or visitor with flu-like symptoms to self-isolate for seven days. We are requesting that any member or visitor returning from certain affected areas abroad – or those who have been in close personal contact with someone who has contracted the virus – to self-isolate for fourteen days.

Course Tutors and Leaders:

We additionally request that you sanitize the main building door handles (front and back) and the two toilet door handles before and after your classes. Anti-bacterial spray is on the kitchen ledge and blue paper cloth is in a dispenser by the fridge. Many thanks for your joint co-operation here.
